The Trust was established in the Year 1936, with the name of “Pioneer Public Schools’ Association Trust” and on 25th March, 1954, the Trust was renamed as “Pioneer Education Trust”. Shri. Raobahadur D.G. Padhye, Shri. Raosaheb N. M. Kale and Guruvarya Shri. B.P. Rao Bahadur alias Bapusaheb Phatak came together and contributed finance to start PIONEER PUBLIC SCHOOL at Shivaji Park Dadar in 1936. BMC leased out land measuring 1710 square yards at Bhau Daji Rd, Matunga East on 14.08.1978 on 60 years lease. Hon. Trustees collected donations in public and constructed a building on the same plot.
